GOD HAS BEEN GRACIOUS
The Lord has been gracious to the Ministry. He has enabled us to achieve a lot for the glory of His Precious Name:
{a}. Orphans: We have been catering for orphans,disadvantaged,destitute and the abused children during their formative years. Our target group is children below fifteen years of age. Our core values have been to provide ethical and socially responsive childcare in the form of:
-Spiritual and social welfare.
-Shelter food and other nutritional provisions.
-Educational and vocational training.
-Health care.
In our area centers we have now 254 children who need help and assistance.
{b}. Widows: Due to the HIV &AIDS pandemic and of course other various reasons,we have so many cases of widows registered in our care centers. We have tried through Gods grace to assist the extreme and disadvantaged ones with helping their families with basic needs. We also educate/train them how to start income generating activities in order to stop the dependency syndrome. We now have 215 registered widows in our rescue care area centers.
{c}. HIV&AIDS cases: We are trying to assist people with HIV and AIDS and counsel those who are affected.
-We have helped many to be tested and know their status.
-Provided food and other nutritional provisions.
-Provision of medicine.
-Home based care e.t.c.
We have now 214 registered cases in our rescue care area centers.
{c}. Unique diseases and circumstances: As we moved around preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ,we realized and found that many people are hidden in their families e.t.c. because of their unique diseases. Some family members do not want them to come out to the public because they consider them a bad omen.After giving them counseling we have helped so many cases who have been treated medically e.t.c. We have had cases that needed urgent surgeries and treatment to remedy their situation. Right now we have 118 registered cases in our rescue care area centers.
{d}. Physically and Mentally challenged: There are many cases that need wheelchairs, artificial limbs,, spectacles, hearing aids e.t.c. But due to poverty and very unfortunate circumstances and conditions they live in,they can not afford.We thank God so far for enabling us assist various cases with providing them with the above named necessities whenever possible. At present we have 98 registered cases in our rescue area centers.
{e}. Bibles: One of our main goals and vision is to give a copy of the Bible to those who are unable to purchase one for themselves. To date we have given many copies of the word of God to many deserving people. We are happy and thankful to all who have donated copies of new or used Bibles to us to distribute to the people who need them. As at now we have 210 people registered with us who need copies of the Bible.
{f}. Shelter, Food, clothing and other basic necessities. Because of various circumstances in life many people at times can not afford the above mentioned necessities of life. Where possible we have been of great assistance to many people with basic needs.
{g}. Salvation testimonies: Our main target is to see souls coming to the Lord Jesus Christ. What a joy to see that through this ministry many families and individuals e.t.c have come to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior. As the song goes “we shall come rejoicing bringing in the sheaves”.
NOTE.
The Lord enables us to endeavor to do all these through volunteer work, funds raised from our friends,well-wishers, e.t.c. We have committed our selves to this work of propagating the work of Jesus Christ which is mentioned in the book of Matthew 25:31-46.
